Wendy is a passionate harp tutor based in West Auckland, offering a welcoming environment for students to discover the beauty of the lever harp.

Known for her warm and approachable manner, she creates a nurturing space where students feel comfortable and supported.

Her musical journey includes performances with various ensembles throughout Auckland, and she has previously led medieval and renaissance music groups, where she brought historical music to life. Her dedication to the harp community extends beyond teaching, as she also serves as the President of the Harp Society of New Zealand.

More Than Just Harp Lessons

In addition to harp lessons, Wendy offers instruction in beginner music theory and piano, and with her 20+ years of experience helps students build strong musical foundations. Her approach is both supportive and encouraging, fostering a love of music in each of her students.

In-Studio & Online

Wendy invites students of all ages to her home studio, and also provides lessons online by arrangement.

Her compassionate and understanding nature makes her an ideal guide for those new to music, and she takes great care to adapt her teaching to meet each student’s unique needs.
